Editing 2: Dear Anna, Lying again and again does not make it true. We were 4, only 2 of us used your wc, and 2 sat down and we were all waiting for you to serve us. You never came to ask what we would like to drink or eat or even to help us understand the German menu. We travel around the wourld many times and had great experience with many places. You are not one of them. We did not order because we were waiting and waiting for over 20 minutes and you did not care, and we have had no reason to complain if you were nice and friendly. Hope you will be good with others, we'll be happy to realize that our bad experience with you caused you to behave and respect all visitors. I am not going to respond to any of you lies anymore, just be good. Editing: Unfortunately Anna does not only gives a terrible service but also replied with lies, so I am not going to lie and still say that WC where clean when we got there and stayed clean after we used them, but service is unfriendly at least to tourist who thought to experience a good traditional food and met a place that is not welcoming tourist. If there was 0 stars, thats exactly what I would give them for bad attitude and lies. FORTUNATELY, WE HAVE MET MANY OTHER LOCAL NICE AND DELICIOUS LOCAL PLACES.

1ST REVIEW After a long day we looked for a nice place to dine, we found Anna. Clean washrooms is the only good think I can say about this place. The waiteress was very unfriendly, we asked if there is a table for 4, she said yes with an unwelcoming look. We sat outside, on the table were German menus that we could not undetstand a word. We asked the waiteress if there is an English menu, she shortly said no without trying to help us and left. We were waiting for at least 20 minutes, she came in and out of the kitchen, never looked or asked us anything, we tried to figure out what the menu means, then 2 people came and sat. She went to chat with them and immediately serve them shortly after they sat and never came to our table. At this time we have decided to leave this unfriendly place....

This was a fantastic restaurant that immediately felt warm, looked cozy, and smelled delicious upon arrival. We stopped in fairly late for dinner after traveling most of the day and Anna sat us right away without question (despite no reservation). Although we speak little German, we were able to get everything we wanted and more, including delicious pasta and pork dishes, as well as tasty beer, wine, and schnapps. The portions were hearty and the prices were very fair. Food quality and flavor were top notch! We got to meet Roman, Anna's husband and business partner/ chef, who was absolutely charming and helped to translate for us to have an engaging conversation at the end of the night. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to the Kitzbuhel area. We hope to return soon ourselves and to visit with the lovely duo Anna and...

Ein Abend, der in unsere Geschichte eingeht:

Hervorzuheben ist, dass man als Hundebesitzer herzlich willkommen war und es wurde direkt ein Wassernapf angeboten - an dieser Stelle hört allerdings das “normale” des Abends auf. Bei der Getränkebestellung wurde 1 von 4 Getränken vergessen, das kann passieren und wurde gleich in Ordnung gebracht. Dann wurde das Essen bestellt, 4 Hauptspeisen (Bei einer Holzfällerpfanne wurden Käsespätzle als “Extrawurst” bestellt) und eine Suppe als Vorspeise. Alles wurde, wie zuvor schon von einigen beschrieben, von der Kellnerin/Chefin(?!) etwas “neben der Spur” jeweils mit einem OK bestätigt, allerdings ohne jegliche Notiz. Nach guten 15 Minuten kamen dann die Hauptspeisen, wobei gleich die Lamm-Pfanne mit dem Hinweis auf die Käsespätzle hingestellt wurde. Dies haben wir dann gleich moniert und auf die Holzfäller-Pfanne verwiesen. Die bei der Lamm-Pfanne zugehörigen Trüffel-Spätzle sollten unbedingt auch da sein. Die Kellnerin entschuldigte sich, kam nach einer Minute mit der Holzfäller-Pfanne (ohne Spätzle) und einem Löffel wieder, womit sie dann direkt auf dem Tisch vor uns die Spätzle von einem Teller auf den Anderen löffelte.

Aufmerksame Leser haben vielleicht gemerkt, dass direkt die Hauptspeisen kamen - genau, die Suppe wurde komplett vergessen. Während des Essens, nachdem Zwei von uns bereits fertig waren, Zwei jedoch noch am Essen waren kam die Kellnerin erneut an den Tisch, entschuldigte sich nochmals beiläufig, zückte komischerweise ihr Handy und las negative Bewertungen der letzten Wochen vor die sie “nicht nachvollziehen” kann. In den anschließenden 10 Minuten kam die Dame noch mehrmals vorbei und wies uns fast penetrant darauf hin, dass wir jetzt ja bitte trotzdem eine positive Bewertung schreiben können wenn es geht. Wir wollten dann nurnoch gehen, wobei eine Barzahlung außerdem ebenfalls nicht möglich war. (!)

Fazit: Das Essen war wirklich gut und lecker (deshalb auch 3 Sterne), man muss am besten nur mehrmals Änderungen und Vorspeisenwünsche betonen. Der Service war definitiv “neben der Spur”, dies war aber ja scheinbar nicht nur tagesformabhängig sondern ist scheinbar ja die Regel.
