Restaurant Ertl — Restaurant in Seeboden am Millstätter See

Food was okay, I had a Kräftige Rinderbrühe soup which is normally very good in Austria, but pretty mediocre and tasteless here. I also had some BBQ ribs which I would definitely recommend giving a try.

I have to say though, the terrace and view was awesome. Had a direct view over the mountains and the restaurant's garden, and it was pretty beautiful. The interior decoration here was also quite nice.

Lovely food and a great location, with a view over the water but… there seemed to be some miscommunication between the hard working waitress and the kitchen! My pizza arrived 10 minutes before the starter so it then had to be reheated when my husband’s main arrived. We spotted a similar thing happening to another family half an hour later. A simple thing to sort out and then this restaurant would be worth...

Good traditional food (grilled meat, Carinthian steak,) polite staff, beautiful terrace by the lake, they also have their own beach. Strangely enough, we were warned pizza would be off the menu (not that we cared,) but pizza continued to be served to other tables.
