Restaurant Birkenlift Hellenic Taverne — Restaurant in Seefeld in Tirol

We had an amazing dinner with the family at the Birkenlift the other day. The restaurant has a nice view over the slopes and a Tirol vibe. The staff is very friendly and recommended us the Mezze for starters and the day’s specials: Moussaka, Spareribs and the Lamb Chops. The dessert was to share: Chocolate fudge, apple cake, all topped with ice cream and yoghurt parfait. It was delicious and the portions...very generous. I really appreciate that the food is authentic and made in their kitchen from scratch. I tried the red house wine, brought from Greece - a topper! Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern auf dem gegenüberliegenden Campingplatz auf Durchreise durch Tirol. Rein optisch wirkte der Laden wie eine Mischung aus Eiche rustikal und Salon im wilden Westen und in den 90er hängen geblieben. Die Karte war klein aber durchdacht. In punkto Design der Karte sollte aber nachgebessert werden, denn denn die Qualität konnte nicht an die wirklich gute Qualität des Essens anknüpfen. Alles war frisch, super lecker, vollständig selbst gemacht. Portionsgröße war top, also nicht zu wenig und auch nicht so, dass man rausgerollt werden muss (was beim Griechen ja durchaus manchmal passiert). Wir hatten Gyros und Bifteki und beides war super.
