On Valentine's Day, my partner and I visited the restaurant Krachlemoos in Seefeld. Although we came with high expectations, the evening unfortunately did not go as hoped. Upon entering, we immediately noticed how cold it was in the restaurant. We had to keep our jackets on to avoid freezing, which did not contribute to a cozy atmosphere. We mentioned several times that we found it very cold, but unfortunately, nothing was done to make the temperature more comfortable. One of the female servers did offer us schnapps to help with the cold, but this was not what we were looking for and did not really alleviate the issue. During the main course, I was surprised to find a hair in my food, which is obviously not hygienic and immediately ruined my appetite. We reported this to the staff right away, but it was not adequately addressed. The most disappointing aspect, however, was the staff's reaction. They brought us the bill without any comment on the cold or the hair in my food. There were no apologies or excuses, which made us feel like our complaints were not taken seriously. When we brought up the issue ourselves, one of the male servers reacted defensively and somewhat aggressively. He made us feel like we were to blame and his response was not friendly at all, nor did it contribute to a solution. This was unfortunate because with a bit more understanding and friendliness, the evening might still have been salvaged. Although the food itself was not bad, the overall experience was greatly affected by the circumstances and the way the staff handled them. As we were leaving the restaurant, we overheard the same male server making rude remarks about us to another colleague. This behavior was truly unacceptable and completed the negative impression. Perhaps it was an exception, but for now, we would not recommend the restaurant until improvements are made. We hope the management takes this to heart and takes steps to improve the service...
Read moreA bizarre experience, I feel they were perhaps down on service staff tonight as often we went 15 mins without anybody visiting our table. When they did attend they were were very good, but absent for too long in an environment were you expect to be taken care of. We were at this restaurant a few days ago and it was worth a 5 star review, hence the revisit, but tonight sadly 3 stars is generous. The mains took a long time to arrive and the lamb was inedible, but the beef was fantastic. The starter was very poor and yet a few days ago the salad starter was amazing. I love what they are doing, but tonight was poor. This is very disappointing because my expectations were high. Read moreWir hatten einen Tisch für den 28.01.2025 um 18.30 h online Anfang Januar bestellt. Am 28.01., Tag der Reservierung haben wur um 13 h auf den AB gesprochen, um Rückruf gebeten und mitgeteilt, dass sich unsere Ankunft um 30 Min. verspätet. Ein Rückruf vom Chef kam 15 h, wo ich ihm genau das nochmals mitteilte und positiven Bescheid darauf bekam. Um 19 h kamen wir an, und der Kellner empfing uns mit den Worten, wir hätten nicht reserviert. Nach einigem suchen fand er dann doch unsere Reservierung, um uns dann zu massregeln, wir seien 30 Minuten zu spät, er hätte unseren Tisch vergeben und müsse nun extra einen anderen Tisch für uns neu eindecken, der Tisch sei aber noch besetzt. Auf meine Antwort, wir hätten ordnungsgemäss die Verspätung dem Chef mitgeteilt, und wir hätten nicht so viel Zeit, meinte ziemlich überfordert, wir wären schliesslich viel zu spät gekommen, nun müssten wir uns gedulden. Im Übrigen hätte der Chef ihm nichts über unsere 30 Min. Verspätung gesagt. Gesagt, getan, wir haben dann gut 8-10 Min. gewartet, bis die vorigen Gäste bezahlt hatten und unser Tisch neu eingedeckt war. Nach der Ansage vom Kellner war ich dermassen bedient, dass ich schon keinen Hunger mehr hatte. Nur meinem Mann zu Liebe habe ich dann doch Teigtaschen bestellt, und er ein Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat. Die Teigtaschen kamen und schwammen im Fett (wiederlich) und der Kartoffelsalat hatte wesentlich zuviel Essig - beides war ungeniessbar. Das Schnitzel war einigermassen gut. Nach dem Essen haben wir bezahlt, und der Ober entschuldigte sich für die Missverständnisse am Anfang, aber es wäre halt so furchtbar viel zu tun. Für uns als Dienstleister im Beruf eine Entschuldigung, die wir so nicht gelten lassen.
Fazit: Wir sind auf Empfehlung das erste Mal in dieses Restaurant gegangen und recht enttäuscht worden. Abgesehen von der schlechten Küche, so geht man nicht mit Gästen um. Ein absolutes NO GO! Wir können das Restaurant weder empfehlen, noch werden wir es...
