First off, the food. I ordered a pizza with onions, bacon, garlic. It was very tasty. It tasted fresh and not at all like some fast food unhealthy pizza. You got a big pizza (too big for me, so I gave some to my dad), and the apple juice I ordered was also in a big glass. So great sizes. I also ordered the housemade tiramisu as dessert. The tiramisu was heavenly. Legit the best tiramisu I've ever had.
Now for the service. The staff was very friendly and kind. When we ordered 2 tiramisu for the four of us, (without saying it was dor the four of us), the waiter immediately asked if we wanted 4 spoons. We came in very late, so we were one of the last people to finish eating. Despite this, the staff were just chatting with each other while we were eating, letting us be. This made me feel at ease, like they weren't waiting for us to finish the food quickly.
Lastly, the atmosphere. The style of the restaurant wasn't really my thing. But that's just my opinion. The table was also a little in the way of the couch, so I had to awkwardly scoot in. But maybe that was only just our table. Either way, no loud music or loud kitchen sounds or so. So it was relaxing. The look and style of a restaurant don't matter too much for me. But still, the service would make up for it, I'd say. Just overall, a cosy restaurant.
I really enjoyed...
Read moreI will leave an English comment first, but also an Italian one, hoping someone from the staff knows it (hoping someone is actually Italian, cause none of the people that served us even knew the language)
Normal outside dinner at a restaurant. To be honest me and other 3 people with me actually enjoyed the food that was served. We ordered a 4 cheeses pizza, a turkey with cheese and veggies and finally two pork cotolettas, one with potato salad while the other with speck/green beans, roasted potatoes and a mushroom sauce. The reason for which I gave 3 stars is this last dish. I’m normally a pretty calm person, who doesn’t explode in rage when I see things like an Hawaii pizza on the menu (which, of course out of tradition was present), and normally I overlook some minor issues during the experience. The problem tho is that what I was served was not a pork cotoletta, but a pork chop, totally unrelated. The first thing I hate to experience in a restaurant is when the customer is lied to, which is exactly what I felt happened. If you write a certain dish on the menu, and while ordering it even pointing at it to not make any mistakes, the last thing you want is to receive something else, especially in a state where, even if not origin of the recipe, still remains famous for that dish too even for us Italians. I just wanted to point out this matter, cause I don’t want others to witness the same.
To be honest I really hope to receive an answer, even if none of the staff of an Italian restaurant is...
Read moreThe pizza here is excellent—one of the best I’ve had. However, the experience was marred by several issues. It was disappointing that we could only pay with cash, and this wasn’t communicated to us beforehand. Additionally, a waitress lit a cigarette indoors, and the owner, who didn’t speak English, treated us poorly by not sending an English-speaking server to assist us.
The rosé was overly sweet, and the Fanta tasted like it had been sitting open in the fridge for a year—completely undrinkable. Despite these service issues, if you’re focused solely on the quality of the food and not the service, this place is...
