I have dined at award-winning restaurants, mid-range bistros, food trucks, and charming Buschenschänke — but never have I encountered hosts as unfriendly as those at Pizzeria CasaMira in Bodensdorf.
We waited at least 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. Five minutes later, three drinks arrived — one was missing. Another 35 minutes passed before our two pizzas arrived, while takeaway orders were clearly prioritized. Multiple guests left with boxes as we sat there, increasingly hungry and unimpressed.
The pizza? Fine. Not bad, not outstanding. Just okay.
When the waitress — likely the owner or related — cleared our plates, she asked if everything had been alright. We answered honestly. Instead of a simple apology, she immediately got defensive, asked if we hadn't seen that there were many orders, insisted 35 minutes was a normal wait for two pizzas and talked about her own restaurant visits.
Moments later, she was openly talking about us to someone else at the restaurant, who added that we should’ve just gone to the grocery store for a Leberkäsesemmel.
Did I lose my temper? Yes. Would I do it again? Absolutely.
I’m leaving this review knowing full well I’ll probably get a hostile reply — and that alone says everything about the service here.

Read moreCasaMira is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to in a long time. The pizza, pasta, and seafood dishes are all absolutely amazing. The flavors are so authentic and delicious, it's like taking a trip to Italy with every bite. The atmosphere at CasaMira is casual and laid-back, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend trying the pizza - it's cooked to perfection with just the right amount of toppings. The pasta dishes are also a must-try, especially the creamy carbonara. And if you're a seafood lover, you won't be disappointed with the fresh and flavorful options on the menu. Overall, CasaMira is a gem of a restaurant that I will definitely be returning to again and again. If you're in the mood for some awesome Italian food, this is the...
Read moreSehr gute und leckere Pizza. Service, besonders eine Dame, eher semi- freundlich. Sehr kurz angebunden, wirkte gestresst.
