Restaurant OLYMPIA — Restaurant in Steyr

Two waiters who didn't really speak either German or English. We ordered three drinks and two small dishes. They managed to get almost everything wrong, took forever to serve us and then it was almost impossible to explain to them that they had brought something we hadn't ordered. Finally, they charged us for the dish we had returned because we hadn't ordered it, and we needed to explain to them again why they had charged us too much.

The food was also mediocre and not as advertised.

looking for a place to eat on the square we wandered into Olympia. Nice tables outside in the sunshine. Pretty sandard easy Greek menue, I ordered a Gyros platter. Food was ok until a big chunk of platic wrapping turned up in the dish. Immediately showed this to the waiter who just shrugged. When it was time to pay we asked if they could do something, but no, that plastic was our problem. We never asked for a whole refund or the like, just trying to see how they treat their customes. Great authentic Greek food served by extremely friendly owner, daily freshly cooked by him and his just as friendly wife. Everything we have tried so far we 100% enjoyed. Especially their lamb, seafood and oven-dishes (pastitsio etc), tzaziki and starters are awesome. Great for take-away as well. It's a pleasure to see the food scene in Steyr improve over the past years and this Greek restaurant definitely...
