Alt Mösern — Restaurant in Telfs

Lovely setting.

We booked in advance and arrived to be welcomed by a lovely tall and friendly gentleman who showed us to our seats on the terrace. We went past other guests who stopped us to ask about our dog and we had friendly conversations.

I ordered a "Bunte Salad" to start and my husband had goat cheese. Our dog lay sleeping under the table. The starters were tasty.

Later a female waitress came past and our dog gave a low growl from under the table, as he does when he is sleeping - a harmless defence mechanism.

I ordered the grilled mediterranean vegetable main. This was for me, a small portion of grilled vegetables and mash with a tasty sauce - at a huge price of around 17€. My husband had the fish.He said this was tasty.

I ordered a dessert as I was still hungry. I had the pancakes.

Because the setting was gorgeous,I probably would not have felt hard done by, if it wasn't for the middle aged blonde waitress who grumpily came to collect our money. She told us we had to go out a certain way so that our dog did not disturb guests around d the back and that as we go through the restaurant we had to be sure not to disturb others (she said her daughter and her dog were inside so we must not disturb them). If she said it with a smile, it would not have even been so bad!

Thos left a really sour taste I our mouths as Reggie dog had been perfectly behaved except for one sleepy growl, and we left feeling unwelcome and swindled having paid 77+€ for 2 starters, 2 mains, a dessert and 2½ beers - a hefty price for an unwelome...

Super nice and cute place! The mountain view is amazing and creates unique atmosphere. The food was very tasty, especially the seabass. Very soft and delicate strudel, with a lot of apples on a thin dough, and very tasty ice cream. A very good balance of local dishes and italian twist. There are a lot of options of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, including a selection of local beers and wines by glass. In the menu there are also children’s options. The service was very friendly, welcoming and fast, although we don’t speak German. Definitely...

Very friendly staff with a lot of different food options. During our stay we ate there every evening and tried alot of different things like the wolfsbaars, schnitzel, apfelstrudel,.. And everything was perfectly cooked. There is an outside terrace with an amazing view, especially during sunset. Inside it's very cosy and a welcoming interior. If our travels bring us in the neighbourhood again, we will definitely eat here again. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice...
