VEGAN REVIEW. the owner, Martin, is a super kind person who, when finding out I was vegan, immediately offered to make me something custom upon learning that I couldn't eat from their menu and was very interested in what it means to be vegan. He was so friendly and open minded and made me feel super welcome. They also have homemade Hollundersyrup (a flower syrup) which they make beverages with - delicious. The Eder Hütte is definitely one of the best huts in Zell am See / Schmittenhöhe. Fairly priced and really tasty. The spinach dumplings in butter are a clear recommendation. The burger and the fried potato soup are also good. We were served in a very friendly manner. We can also recommend the chocolate chili schnapps at the end.
