Don't call it pizza — Restaurant in Vienna

Upon entering the restaurant, you can feel a very pleasant and warm atmosphere. Even though it was clear from the entrance that there were enough free tables for dinner, we waited for someone to take us to our table, as it was kindly written at the entrance "PLEASE WAIT TO BE SEATED". We didn't wait more than 30 seconds and the waiter offered us several seating options and we chose the most comfortable one for us at that moment. The menu soon arrived. I must admit that we were surprised by the price of the pizza we chose and it is visible in the picture, but at the end of the dinner we were pleasantly surprised by the taste of the ordered pizza, which is also the house specialty. Unobtrusive music and perfectly chilled Stella Artois are a pleasant addition to this pizzeria. I was especially impressed by the futuristically lit booths, the color above the bar, and the ability to watch the pizza master skillfully prepare our dinner. We didn't have dessert, so as not to spoil the excellent impression this...

Loved this place! I would 💯 recommend this! We are here four times! The service was great and they were on it!!! The food is delicious and it comes out pretty fast. We had brunch here as well and enjoyed it! Very typical European brunch, but lots of different options. The lasagna here was beyond delicious-I was shocked because I didn’t expect a little pizza place in Vienna to have one of the best lasagnas I have ever eaten. The servers spoke perfect English, they had ice in their drinks and great air conditioning!!!! (It was hot when we were there!). My kids loved their pizza, we devoured the Caesar salads and we just found the food to be delicious. My husband and I split the salad and the lasagna and they actually split it for us so we didn’t have to. You don’t find that much so it was really appreciated!

And ask them why it’s not called pizza! They will explain! 5 stars...

Esperienza perfetta e che avrei volentieri ripetuto in questo ristorante se non fossi dovuta tornare in Italia! Purtroppo ne abbiamo scoperto l'esistenza solo la sera prima di ripartire ed era anche vicinissimo al nostro hotel... Primo impatto visivo del locale ottimo: arredamento curato e moderno, come piace a me, e atmosfera molto tranquilla e pacata (zero casino). La cameriera pugliese che ci ha seguito è stata molto amichevole e simpatica, oltre che attenta e pronta a intervenire (quando mi è caduta la forchetta è venuta subito a sostituirmela). Abbiamo optato per una carbonara (io) e una diavola (il mio ragazzo). Non esagero se dico che la carbonara è stata tra le migliori (se non la migliore) che io abbia mai mangiato, ed essendo il mio piatto preferito ne ho mangiate parecchie, anche a Roma. Effettivamente ci era stato detto che i cuochi sono italiani e infatti merito a loro, bravissimi! La cosa che mi è piaciuta di più è stato il guanciale: nonostante fosse tagliato grosso, si scioglieva in bocca perfettamente e aveva anche il giusto sapore di bruciacchiato come piace a me. La cremina aveva la consistenza perfetta e se anche fosse stata allungata con la panna (ipotesi mia), a me non ha disturbato per niente. La scelta della pasta (spaghettoni) è stata super azzeccata e la cottura era perfetta per me (non al dente). La salatura e pepatura era piuttosto discreta, quindi assolutamente di mio gusto. Il formaggio grattuggiato sopra penso fosse pecorino ma non ci metterei la mano sul fuoco. In ogni caso, non toglieva niente al piatto. L'unica cosa negativa si è presentata quando la pasta è finita perché avrei fatto subito il bis ahahahah La pizza era fatta a regola d'arte, come la mangiamo in Italia, ed era ben guarnita, forse anche troppo... il salame piccante ha messo a dura prova il mio ragazzo, che normalmente regge bene questi gusti (ma mi ha confermato che gli è piaciuta molto). Anch'io l'ho assaggiata e confermo la qualità e l'ottima esecuzione. Da bere abbiamo optato per un'acqua piccola da 25cl e una Coca Zero (mi pare), per illuderci di risparmiare visto che a Vienna l'acqua si paga a peso d'oro! Il conto è stato onestissimo e, anzi, più basso della media di Vienna. Abbiamo speso 36€ circa, quindi lo considero un ristorante economico ma con una qualità invidiabile anche da chi si fa pagare di più! Momento mancia sempre un po' disagiante, ma ci hanno detto che è buona norma dare il 10%, quindi abbiamo fatto così sperando di non essere stati scortesi. Consiglio assolutamente, specialmente se siete italiani, perché si mangia la vera cucina italiana, non...
