The ice creams was good,but the coffee was horrible,we asked them milk instead cream..and they were doubting what we r telling them,the glasses was smelling egg and the workers gave excuses that the smell is coming from the tap,while she smells it and she couldn't handle the smell... mistakes are fir happening,but at list they should accept and ask a simple sorry Instead being ignorance..I pleased them to bring me another coffee with out cream pls just small milk...and they brought me instead coffee and not cappuccino as was my order.. and of course I ll never go there again...not for the mistakes..but because they were very ignorant and they were doubting me while she couldn't smell the glass twice!!! So sorry for some shops...

2024- Latest updated: Unfortunately, this is a takeover, not the original Gelateria Arnoldo. I had a pistachio coup (7.8 euros) and my friend had a single scoop. We gave 10 euros cash, but they charged 3.8 euros for the single scoop, this has never happened before. So we had to give 20 euros, but the waiter said that they didn't have any change, and asked if we could give the remaining money as a tip (8.6 euros!!). After our refusing, he finally went to the bar and gave the change. This is shameful! We have been at Gelateria Arnoldo for several years and this is the last time.

Beginnen möchte ich mit den positiven Eindrücken. Der Eissalon bietet sowohl im Lokal, als auch auf der Straßenseite Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Auswahl und Vielfalt an Eissorten wusste zu überzeugen. Die Speisekarten (eine für die Eisbecher, eine für die Crêpes) sind sehr strukturiert und professionell gestaltet. Auch hier spricht die Auswahl und Vielfalt für das Lokal. Auch für das Lokal spricht die Qualität des Eis, welche hervorragend ist. Weswegen vergebe ich dennoch nur 2 statt 4 Sternen? Das ist leicht erklärt. Bereits zwei Mal habe ich den Eissalon besucht und jedes Mal fiel mir das Personal negativ auf. Beim ersten Besuch wurde auf ein Getränk vergessen, welches erst nach 15 Minuten und einer Reklamation gebracht wurde. Beim zweiten Besuch beobachtete ich eine ältere Frau, welche einen Eiskaffee plus ein Glas Wasser bestellt hat. Nach zweimaliger Erinnerung ihrerseits und des Ignorierens der Kellner gab sie auf und verzichtete auf das Wasser. Wenigstens der Hund anderer Gäste bekam eines. Das Personal wirkt zusätzlich nicht besonders freundlich, eher schon gezwungen höflich. Und obendrein vergessen sie regelmäßig, dass Kunden zahlen möchten. Prinzipiell muss der Kunde an die zwei Mal seinen Wunsch zum Zahlen äußern, bis die Rechnung kommt. Ungenügend! Zu guter letzt noch eine Bemerkung zu den Sitzmöglichkeiten im Freien. Hier fühlt man sich als Kunde doch eher als Sardine. Da versucht das Lokal vermutlich den Umsatz auf Kosten der Bequemlichkeit zu erhöhen, was meiner Meinung nach der falsche Ansatz ist. Alles in allem überwiegt doch das Negative. Am besten, man bestellt sich ein leckeres Eis zum Mitnehmen und spart sich dadurch eine...
