Schnitzelrestaurant — Restaurant in Vienna

Very nice hole in the wall in a quiet neighbourhood. I wanted to try a relatively cheaper and authentic local schnitzel. It was also served hot and fresh. Staff could not speak English (a bit grumpy 😆) but we managed with the help of another customer. Reminded me of takeaway fish and chips...

Nice local place with outdoor seating and very nice service (at the counter). For my taste the breading (Panir) is too hard though. The slightly higher prices are justified by everything being prepared fresh...

Das Schnitzel dort ist sehr lecker und das Lokal ist auch sauber, was man von vielen Schnitzelbuden nicht behaupten kann! Es riecht nicht nach altem Öl, was bedeutet das dieses regelmäßig gewechselt wird. Der ältere Herr mit der Brille, der schon sehr lange da arbeitet, ist ein absoluter Wahnsinn. Freundlich, kompetent und sehr sauber! Die anderen sind auch nett, aber der Typ macht mit Abstand das beste Schnitzel. Pommes sind auch knusprig und der Kartoffelsalat ist ein Traum! Wir bestellen oft und empfehlen es auch gerne weiter. Die Schwiegermutter holt sich mittlerweile auch ihr Schnitzel hier, obwohl sie im 19ten wohnt. Top, danke, dass...
