Was here for a quick, early dinner after a hike with my 3 kids. We arrived and the kids were super thirsty after the hike, so I passed them their water bottles before we had ordered for a drink and she was extremely annoyed. I understand this is frowned upon, but we were planning on ordering drinks as well after. Because she was so unfriendly in general, I just wanted to eat and get out of there as quickly as possible. As far as the food, the schnitzel was good but the fries were a bit burned on the edges so the kids didn’t want to eat them. The soup was ok, but very small for the price. It’s a shame because the restaurant itself is very nice, and I was looking forward to a nice beer and some warm drinks...

The menu isn't packed with too many options, which I think shows they really focus on making each dish special. The food was fantastic, with every detail carefully thought out to make everything taste just right.
The homemade vanilla ice cream was a real treat! It came with roasted pumpkin seeds, chocolate sauce, and cream, which was a unique and delicious combination. Read moreRegards from Indonesia, we just arrived in Salzburg, and my wife wants a Schnitzel. So, I googled around and found Strobl's Herzkuchl not far from the hotel we stayed.
I think this is a hidden gem behind the gas station. The Waiter and Chef are so friendly, warm, and care about us.. the Schnitzel is well prepared, the seasoning is balance for my taste, perfectly cooked, with a big portion.
The Chef also make sure we are happy with the food.. and of course we are. Good food, good mood.. thank you for the service and we wish you a good...
