Pizzeria Ferrari — Restaurant in Wildschönau

We visited the Pizzeria last week on a working stay in the village. Unfortunately there are not many restaurants open at that time of year, and this place is just around the corner, so is convenient. My order quite simply was a lasagne which I would say is virtually impossible to get wrong.....not so, the cheese on top was 20mm thick and like rubber, it had no cream source and the pasta at the base was like shoe leather, to top that it was covered in salt. I wouldn't say it was the worst lasagne I have ever eaten, it was the worst meal I have ever eaten and we go to restaurants 2-3 times a week, so we get through it. The waitress asked how the food was, I told her it was horrible, to which she said, ok, then brought the bill over, no interest. I would not touch this place again and would advise others not to bother, the pizzas look fat and dough'y and lots were being left. Thank god we found the Schneeberger open round the corner,...

Eins der besten Lokale das ich bisher besucht habe. Das Essen spitze und der Service freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit.

Die Auswahl an Pizzen ist sehr groß, und als ich mich deswegen nicht wirklich entscheiden konnte, kam von der netten Dame gleich die Frage: "Wie kann ich helfen, zwischen was kannst du dich nicht entscheiden und wir können auch etwas einzigartiges zusammenstellen" Gleich gemacht, kurz zusammen aus einer Pizza eine Spezialversion für mich zusammengestellt mit wünschen meinerseits und Tipps ihrerseits.

Kurz danach wurde ich informiert das in der Küche mitgeteilt wurde, das dies leicht möglich ist, aber durch den Belag könnte es etwas nässer und vielleicht durchgeweicht sein. War für mich kein Problem und beim erhalt der Pizza war es zwar oben wirklich etwas flüssiger, aber nichts durchgeweicht. Boden knackig, rand goldbraun und knusprig, der Käse, die pikante Salami und Schinken gut im Geschmack, das Basilikumpesto sehr lecker und kräftig und das hausgemachte Chiliöl(glaube wurde so genannt), schmeckte sehr gut, passte ideal zu der Pizza und war für mich nur mit leichter Schärfe.

Für meine vielen extra wünsche habe ich immer noch eine günstige Pizza erhalten, extra fair im Preis, super Preis/Leistung.

Bei der Panna Cotta als Nachspeise. Diese war zwar gut, für mich aber nicht die typische Panna Cotta wie man es kennt. Und ein Siebträger für einem leckeren Espresso fehlte nur mir selbst persönlich, aber das ist in Österreich auch nicht so selbstverständlich vorhanden wie in Italien, daher auch kein Thema.

Rundum satt und zufrieden gewesen. Empfehle ich gerne weiter und werde wenn ich in der Richtung bin auch gerne...

Went twice during our holiday trip because the foods were absolutely wonderful. Very hospitable and friendly staff, warm and cosy atmosphere, a generously wide range of foods and drinks to choose from. Lots of vegetarian options as well as clear indications of allergies information. 12/10 would recommend holiday goers to visit especially for families...
