We visited this baklava shop during our trip and were excited to try authentic baklava for the first time. Since we weren’t familiar with the different varieties, we requested a few small samples to understand the taste before buying. The staff allowed us to try them, and the baklava itself was fresh and quite tasty, so we decided to purchase.
However, we were surprised to see that the shop charged us for the tasting samples (around 6–7 manat), even though they were very small pieces. We didn’t expect this, as most shops usually offer tasting samples for free, especially when a customer ends up buying.
