Lake Palace Hotel Baku — Restaurant in Baku City

Location: suitable to access most of the tourist attraction with taxi for around 3-5 manat.||Luggage: help is already there for you at your entrance but if you want to do it yourself more than 10 steps are there to climb to reach lobby.||Staff:polite and helpy not all of them know much english but enough to help you.||Rooms view:lake view room good enough to have beautiful artificial lake picture during your rest time, some rooms dont have acceptable view at all. ||Room cleaning: acceptable cleaning service ,besides rooms are clean and neat you may face a broken key or plug but as a whole it is clean and neat.||Mini bar: average and simple, it is not that teribble expensive. Ex: a beer for 3 manat.||Aircon: we put it on lowest fan speed but still it was too much for such a room it was not acceptable.|Also we faced two hour technical problem for aircon system so a little disturbing.||WC and Bath: clean ,no extra paper towel, one towel ,one toothbrush ( i bring my own so wont ask for one another but this is no service for two people). Sometimes smell too bad i think that is because of piping problem but it was not the only place in baku with that problem i have faced many places with disturbing smell of waste water pipes. Towel clean but old and threadbare. ||Breakfast: jam and cheese in kinds, boiled egg, tomato omlet and sausage with egg and som kind of ham and sausage available. Bread available but one or two types with no toaster or warmer. Milk cold and warm available but no juice just Strawberry syrup drink. Tea and sweets or cake too bad lets not to talk about that,No pancake ,No spring rolls ,No crep or omlet as you wish. As a whole breakfast is weak!||Pool: consider it a double size bathtube with humid warm environment. Useless!!!||WiFi: available free of charge, coverage perfect, speed perfect, no any techical problem or issue. The worst hotel I ever tried as first they want to keep our passport who will allow that?, problem at check in no respect to customer, we ask for upgrade they just let us feel like we are not paying or we will steel something, then at the room no coffee machine no hot water so you start your morning without decent coffee, toilet door nob at room 212 broken when we complain they try to blame us, at second night there was some ceremony they promise to finish by 9 but all the noise up to 11 pm, then one day we had dirty sheets ask to change it they said it will cost us 10 manat you can put all this aside but no one can speak english in professional way or communicate with you with respect, even their breakfast poor quality no variety of food and even during breakfast no coffee if you request some they will give you sachet one, if I did not pay them and I could take my money back I would not...
