My reviews of my visit to this eatery are mixed. I see and appreciate the effort this business' owners have put into their plant and space. The food is actually quite delicious. And I really appreciated and enjoyed the flavours and novel tastes, (even though the dishes arrived cold). However, they should probably stick to take out orders until they can organize and streamline their entire restaurant dining experience and logistics. If I do not keep my good humour about this up and coming spot - I would have more than enough to rip my dining experience to shreds. Nom Nom, please hire additional help (the ones who don't walk off after you say hi upon arrival). Help is needed to greet and manage your guests and seat them based on reservations made and confirmed. Hire wait staff to take orders and take care of your dining in guests. It will be a good practice to take orders or at least drink orders in less than 40 minutes of a guest being seated. Value and treat dining in customers as well as you do walk-in take-away customers, esp. those ones who seem like family or regulars and get the big smiles. You will lose revenue if you don't properly manage customers' orders and ensure they only get what they order. To persons reading this review, just consider yourself part of the family like we did - go inside and insist your order be taken (after the 40minute wait) and then wait and watch to ensure that it's submitted to the kitchen. Don't feel badly if you have to go and collect your food from the order counter and bring it to your table yourself. And you can help the order taker/ waiter (?) calculate your bill to make sure they include the drinks on the order form but which was not added into the total calculated. 🙄 Don't forget to tip yourself with the change received after all the work you did during your dining experience.
Maybe take-out lunch is a better option? I don't know. But I won't be venturing for a dine-in experience...
Read moreExcellent food. Good prices and good service. Had the chicken sandwich with coleslaw on it. It was the bomb. Update: Wish I took a picture before I devoured it, but I had the pomegranate 1/4 chicken dinner. It came with a salad, basmati rice and pita bread. That was the best tasting chicken that I've had in a long time. I definitely recommend. The salad was awesome and different as well; Spinach and red cabbage. Go try it for yourself. You'll love it. Update: lamb gyro and falafel gyro. Both were really good. Well seasoned and the gyro was not too wet as with other places. The cauliflower bites were nice and crispy. Could have been cut a little smaller but none the less,...
Read moreThe food here is excellent and is freshly made with mostly farm to table ingredients. It is nicely tucked away but easy to find and the service is friendly and professional. Next time I will take photos however, I had the falafel w/ veggie loaded fries while my mom had the crispy fish burger. We both enjoyed our meals and would definitely recommend these, the hummus and those delicious cookies that are...
