West Hill by Best Brew — Restaurant in New Providence

The restaurant is brand new one can still smell the paint and the layout is clean and well appointed. However due to the minimalist style sound truly carries and walking in with a mummy and baby group inside we asked if we could sit outside and was told there’s no table service (orders from the table) it’s only a counter order. It was very disappointing because one could not hear the lady at the register and due to the screaming one had to place the order in record time. We had to repeat everything we ordered due to the screaming being echoed across the interior (the acoustics are not favorable due to the minimalist design). The server at the table was not overly friendly however efficient. Some cutlery would have been appreciated because not everyone enjoys holding an entire bagel in the hand nor eating a hash brown with your hands. There were no condiments on the table or offered. No sugar offered for the coffee and we had to ask. We were disappointed in the quality of the food offered. We ordered a bagel with bacon, egg and cheese. The bacon was not crispy and that’s okay but there was a very tough rind on the bacon. That can be seen as personal choice. However the processed cheese is not good because it’s not healthy or tasty and not real cheese. The menu should state processed cheese. Because it spoiled the food. I would gladly have chosen another option if I was made aware of the fact that processed cheese would be on the bagel.
