I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Island Brothers restaurant in Nassau, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment we stepped in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff immediately set the tone for a wonderful evening.
The decor was tasteful and inviting, and the view of the ocean added to the already charming ambiance.
As for the food, I can only describe it as exceptional. Every dish was a burst of flavor and expertly prepared. From the fresh seafood to the delicious local dishes, everything we tried was a culinary masterpiece.
What truly set the restaurant apart, however, was the impeccable service. The staff were not only attentive and knowledgeable, but they also exuded a warmth and friendliness that made us feel like valued guests.
I am eager to write a glowing review for the Island Brothers restaurant. It was a truly unforgettable dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable meal in Nassau.

Read moreWow. While it may seem daunting to explore beyond the grounds of the paradise island resorts or the esteemed restaurants of Baha Mar, a trip to Island Brothers is a must for anyone who claims themself a “foodie”. Rivaling any cozy bistro in Paris, Island Brothers takes you on a culinary venture through all the quintessential French classics. The salad lyonnaise is fresh and savory, the escargot, served outside the shell, provides ample sauce for dipping the table bread. Order whatever is on the special or treat yourself to any of the meat entrees the owner prides himself on getting delivered from around the world to maintain its freshness. The clock tail menu is deep and extinguished with tropical flavors and the wine menu is robust. Finally do not forget to order the chocolate lava cake for dessert. All in all, I leave sad knowing I do not have this place closer than across a sea, but happy knowing I now have a favorite place...
Read moreI live between Nassau, Tuscany and Punta del Este and decided to return to the magic Island Bro's as they are just around the corner from my home in Nassau for lunch. My wife and I sat down at 2:15, when an obviously frustrated local waiter reluctantly brought us the menus with an indignant comment that there were no starters available. Lovely. 'Why?', I dared to ask: 'You shut at 2:30', was my comment, 'and it's only 2:15', I said'. 'It's 2:17', that little bugger replied without shame, copping a typical local island attitude of someone irked to have to serve customers 15 minutes before closing time. We quaffed down 4 glasses of wine, 2 main courses and had the pleasure of paying $ 200.-. That's taking the p&ss, cher Clement and Luc. I've lived in Nassau 30+ years and will surely not return and have shared this story with my friends. Try a reality check for service...
