Well..this is absolutely a game changer restaurant. They have changed the landscape of this place. The entire area around this restaurant used to stink and I remember challenging my kids a treat who would not close their nose while we pass this road. Now that we visit after the restaurant has been opened, the nearby water body has been cleaned and the entire area is filled with the aroma from the restaurant. Obviously its a Saudi restaurant chain and don't expect something of your local preferences. As the saying goes be a Roman while in Rome, you need to adapt to the ambience of this place. There are enough parking available though its a bit crowded during weekends. There are enough seats available for waiting customers. The Saudi style partitions are unique to non-Arabic folks. There are VIP rooms for big families. The ordering style is that of a fast food restaurant. You need to choose your room/partition first. Settle down in the room, then decide what you want to eat. Make a note and order it back at the reception. The order will be marked against your room. There is very little wait time after the order. The folks knock at your door and its well presented. You may want to grab as much as water bottles from the guy who delivers. Do not hesitate to ask him for any help. You can also walk up to the reception for any assistance you may need. The menu is a bit confusing as most of them are bulk and the price looks high. And remember most of the dishes, approximately 3 people can share (average appetite). You have the option to order half portion. This works out very cheap and you can try varieties.
We as a family loved the taste. Its very different from the local food that we have had. As most of you have mentioned in your reviews the Taste here stands above all. (not writing more about it since its a paid service from me)
There are may areas of improvement. But I am sure the restaurant management will be working on feedback given by customers so that they sustain/grow their business. I predict few more branches opening up around Bahrain in the near future. Our Feedback: Staff needs training. Since this is a hospitality industry lot of patience, humbleness and other virtue are highly expected...
Read moreWe went to Romansiah as a family of 5 to dine on Saturday, 10 April 2021. The food taste was amazing. We had ordered a Chicken mandi dish, grilled chicken and mixed grills. On 11th morning onwards, all my 3 kids and husband could not leave the toilet as they had diarrhea. To add to it, high fever and stomach pain too. Since it had not subsided by evening, I took them all to american Mission hospital. Doctor confirmed food poisoning and the blood tests done showed a bacterial infection. Both my husband and little son (5 years old) were put on IV as they had very high fever. The other 2 kids (12 and 10 years old) were given medication and kept under observation for a couple of hours. Antibiotics was prescribed for all. It’s been 4 days now and the diarrhea and stomach pain still persists. I was not affected thankfully and when I thought about what it could be, I realized that I had not tried the mixed grills which all the others had. So the culprit must have been the meat in the mixed grills on that fateful day. Our bill came to around BD 20 at the restaurant. Then, the hospital bills and the poor health of my husband and children! We had a major loss because of this incident. It is very unfortunate this happened. The restaurant officials need to consider hygiene and food quality above all especially in this COVID time. We would NEVER recommend Romansiah to anyone for...

BD 3.65 for mixed grills is the biggest ripoff in Bahrain. Item quantity was so low worth BD 1. Meat was terribly burnt, dry and not well marinated. It took 15 min for this excuse of a mixed grill. Never order Mixed Grills or dips like hummus, mutabel etc here if you value your hard earned money. In my case, the dip was expired. Total waste of BD 4 for dinner. Restaurants like AL HANTOUR GRILL Tashan, SHUBRA Salmaniya, SHOWPIECE Zinj are restaurants best suited for grills that are nearby Romansia. SABBAR AL AYOOB Tubli is fair for tikkas.
From BD 1.5 to BD 2.65 for a half chicken rice meal, the price is somewhat fair considering the rice and meat are flavorful. The chicken in all my experience has been tender since it is steamed or boiled. This is the only thing I would recommend. The rice is not greasy but the chicken may be (inconsistent) too salty for my taste from time to time. But thankfully, the rice can be enjoyed without meat.
I've always ordered takeaway, but there are flies everywhere in the waiting area. The fruit juice section beside waiting area needs more attention from staff. I personally will not order juices knowing that place is swarming with flies.
More priority is given to Talabat than customers waiting for...
