Stepping into Café feels like entering a culinary oasis nestled in the heart of the city. Is it just me or do all new breakfast/lunch places have the same bougie vibe? Anyway… the restaurant is very pretty, with high ceilings, lovely colors and tables outdoors (which is very nice in this weather). The food was good. The lasagna was ok, a little burnt at the ends which we could actually taste, but good overall. The lobster Mac and cheese was delicious - the bread it came in was confusing. It was a lot of just… bread. So, it’s a very carb heavy meal. Also, the dish came with 4 slivers of purple onion skin as decoration. Why? Just why? The tiramisu was the best part. Not a traditional one but yummy. The service was good but super slow. They have a sign (pictured) that basically says you should respect others and leave in 2 hours, which would be fine if it didn’t take the waiters 25 minutes to take my order (including drinks) and another 35 for my food to come. Finally, it’s not cheap. It’s on par with Cafe Lilou. The desserts are priced better than the food. The portion sizes are very large so maybe they expect everyone to share? So. There it is. Go try for yourself. At least the dessert.

First and foremost I’d like to commend the incredible hospitality. Sultan in particular was very hospitable and welcoming—especially to such a large group near closing time (party of 11 for coffee and sweets). Great guy, big smile, kind words. As for the coffee and desserts: We ordered americanos and flat whites and they were good. The desserts were amazing. The Apricot Saffron Milk Cake was delicious, and unlike other milk cakes it wasn’t too sweet and it didn’t have an unpleasant egg taste/smell. It was perfect. The Basque Cheesecake was also very delicious and again it wasn’t too sweet. The Vegan Cheesecake was delicious and although it wasn’t what I prefer as a dessert it was still well balanced. I believe the overall cost was approximately 360 SAR 🇸🇦. The atmosphere was nice and bright, the seats were comfortable, and the place was pretty clean. I ordered a red velvet cake for takeaway that I have yet to try. I’m grateful that my first time in Bahrain was met with a great end♥️I’d definitely come back if only for this cafe 🤝

Commendable interior especially high ceiling and fine selection of artefacts adorning the walls and central spiral design, and yes soft cushion laden sitting areas literally gave a feeling of being in our own house. Place was quite hygienic and table was well set. Though restaurant was full but did not seem crowded due to the well placed tables and chairs. Presentation of every single food was beautifully presented, it was a real treat & marvel to eyes and beyond reasonable doubt finger-licking taste i.e. drink Healthy Tiramisu, starter Thai Tempura Cauliflower, Halloumi Phyllo Pastry Bites, Burrata & Macadamia Toast and NEVER TO MISS Mini Prawn Rolls, main course Garlic & Cheese Pizza and Grilled Chicken Margarita Pizza both prepared inside stone clad oven which ignited quite an outstanding crust taste, and one can never leave without dessert Walnut Olive Oil Sultana Carrot cake (an impressive towering size) and Ricotta Macadamia Nuts & Caramel cheese cake (a finest proportion of sugar in it). Quantities are quite enough and it compliments the quality. Most important of all, the SERVICE that we received from Ms. Stella deserves the HIGHEST APPLAUD. She ensured our table was always neat & tidy and replenished with clean warm plates, napkins, fork-knife-spoon while every course that she was serving us with. Though we have rated 5 star for everything, but Ms. Stella in particular has earned 7 star through her warm communications and ever smiling personality. We left with a conviction that we will be returning soon. Time well spent....

This place has a lovely decor and friendly staff! But that's it! I am sorry but there were far too many issues to ignore - and even tho the manager tried to fix things, I cannot help but write this. I said I had a dairy allergy and yet the waitress did not inform me that the scrambled eggs had cream in them - thankfully, another lovely waitress picked up on this before I started eating.. the manager then apologised and said that the waitress who took my order was new - BUT apparently this is NOT true. I do not like dishonesty, sorry. Then the toast I ordered looked totally different from the picture. It was missing mashed avo, for one.. they then gave me iced matcha as a 'goodwill gesture', but I had to bin it outside, the taste was disgusting and it tasted like melted sugar. They should focus on quality of their food a little more, not just the aesthetics. To say something like 'inspired by grandmothers' (or something along those lines) is a joke, no regular grandma would ever prep this garbage, sorry guys, but your food sucks - also - what kind of a person serves scrambled eggs with creme? Weird. Smh. The manager Adam wanted to prepare something for me, but I went a few doors down to a cafe that is tasty and more concerned with allergies. Thanks anyway, Adam, you are doing your best, not your fault that the food...
