This place was recommended to me by a friend. I was skeptical of the place because I used to be in Korea and the food there is unparalleled. I have to say this place was alright, but it only satisfied the itch of having Korean food. I am not sure I would go back unless I was meeting friends again and they wanted to go to this place. Of note, it's in the hotel but it's on the P2 floor. Walk past the front desk straight to the elevator. It should be next to some pool bar called Yankee I think. The sides were excellent and it had a lot of good kimchi. I would recommend the place just for that. I also got the kimbap, which had an interesting assortment of things inside. It was delicious but they were a little bit too large for kimbap. It should be bite-sized and shouldn't need to be bitten in more than one bite. I also got their pork which was good. I think it came with asian pear in korean spices on the side. In my opinion I thought it was a little expensive, but the amount of pork and side you got was worth it. I just think it would be better to have a smaller portion size and reflect a smaller price as well. I definitely took a lot of the food home too. I would also recommend just bringing a side dish of rice with the pork meal so that it's not extra. I can't imagine white rice is too expensive to add. My friend got their cold noodle buckwheat soup and he said it was good. I don't like cold noodles so I took his word for it, but I did take a picture before he started eating. Service was ok and the place was a little bit empty so I didn't leave smelling like smoked meat. I saw some reviews about that and can definitely see that happening if I went when it...
Read moreThe first restaurant I visited here in Bahrain was a Korean place, but I was so disappointed. After ordering several dishes, none of the food tasted like real Korean food. I honestly lost hope of ever finding an authentic Korean restaurant—until my husband brought me here.
From the very first bite, I knew this place was different. The kimchi tasted fresh, perfectly balanced with spice and sourness, just like in Seoul. The side dishes were amazing—each one full of flavor and truly authentic.
I actually regretted eating before coming here because I didn't expect it will be this good. This restaurant is totally underrated, but it deserves so much more recognition. The flavors are excellent, the portions of the side dishes are generous, and the taste is absolutely satisfying. I will definitely come back...
Read moreThe waitress gave us incorrect information about the pork being unlimited in the self-grill option. She first said it would be unlimited, but when the bill came, they charged us for each serving. After asking again, she said that it was only meant for the marinated pork. This doesn't make sense to us since there shouldn't be any difference between plain or marinated pork. We were disappointed that she wasn't more clear in her explanation at the start and then later changed her words as well.
Overall quite expensive. Food quality is good, but nothing special.
Second waitress's service was good. She helped us with...
