Handi Korai — Restaurant in Barisal District

Food is average here, just alrite..not brilliant.... seating is better than other places as can be seen in photos. Expect the usual combination in the menu...soups...wontons...fried chicken/rice... byrianis.... ice cream etc. First choice item was unavailable - informed us 10 minutes after we took 10 minutes to select it!! Our falooda was a big disappointment in terms of flavours and authenticity in taste. For an up-scale restaurant, they do NOT have a card machine for payments. I was VERY disappointed to have to pay a 2000 taka bill with cash as I was short of cash on my trip!! There were tissues under the table. Casew nut salad they served were full of nuts which is unparellal in whole Bangladesh

Nan rutis were good but my recent experience at a not famous restaurants of Ashulia was better,

kebab items were good but mutton vuna was exceptionaly good, I will recommend this to all.

Need to Improve:

We noticed people with alchohole bottle as we were last customers of the day, Hotel arena has a Bar in the 8th floor but it should not be in Handi Karai cockroach walking...

If this place were in Dhaka I would give it 4 star, but as it is in Barishal where I have found a very few restaurants of that quality, I gave it 5 star. The rooftop of the restaurant is also something Because of which my rating improved. The rooftop is beautiful, the reason behind the beauty is it was on a tall building and the river kirtonkhola was visible from there. It is the best place in Barishal for sure to celebrate birthday parties and other parties. It is also a place good for family and corporate gathering.
