I have nothing but good words for this cafe and my god is this cafe one of the best ones I have visited in mirpur probably this is the only Cafe in mirpur that is worth the money and the hype. Not only was the environment and ambience of the place extra ordinary the food and the service everything was top notch. This cafe is situated right under the metro station in pallabi. Their service is absolutely amazing the staff there is so friendly and so nice they even joked around with us for a couple of minutes while taking the order and while serving us our food. The ambience of the entire cafe was so cozy and warm that it made me feel welcomed. I had ordered there vanilla latte, peachy cox, croissant and creme brulee. The vanilla latte was so creamy and had just the perfect ratio of bitter and sweetness. Often in Bangladeshi cafes they sweeten every coffee beverage. It's either overly bitter or overly sweet but this latte was just perfect. The peachy cox was very sweet and tangy a great combo of flavours that soothed my taste buds. The croissant was an actual croissant and not a flat bread that most cafes including even the expensive ones sell. It was flaky and sweet and perfectly shaped. Just as a croissant should be. I hope they include hot coco to go well with croissants. Now I've left the best for the last, the creme brulee was just out of the world. It was so thick and creamy perfectly sweetened and colored just the right way. I will go there everyday just for the creme brulee. It was also topped with a sugar glaze, torched and one that melted in my mouth. It is quite a small place and I hope they expand because this has become my favorite spot in mirpur. They have done an amazing job with the interior as it consists of arty pictures and victorian crown molding across the ceiling and pillars. 10/10 would recommend absolutely amazing...

Located in Pallabi—a neighborhood that's slowly turning into a hub for photogenic cafés and restaurants—IZ Pâtisserie and Café stands out with its artistic and minimalist design. I visited with high expectations, especially drawn by the aesthetics, and I wasn’t disappointed on that front.
We ordered two cappuccinos, and each came at a price of 310 Taka (single shot). Honestly, that felt a bit steep for me. The coffee itself was very good—smooth and well-made—but not exceptional enough to fully justify the price. I’ve had better coffee for less in other parts of the city. However, in a place where ambiance plays a big role, the gorgeous and photo-friendly decor does add value.
What truly won me over was the complimentary butter cookie that came with the coffee. It was incredibly soft, buttery, and just melted in the mouth—especially impressive since complimentary cookies are becoming rarer these days. I mentioned to the staff how much I liked it, and to our pleasant surprise, they offered both me and my sister another one to try. Small gesture, big impact—major points to the staff for that thoughtful touch.
Overall, the experience was lovely. Yes, the pricing is on the higher end, but if you're someone who enjoys a premium setting and is willing to pay a bit extra for great decor and service, this place delivers. Tip: visit at night to get the most out of its aesthetic beauty in...
Read moreThis time in Dhaka, I was staying around Mirpur 12, and had been looking for a nice cafe in the neighbourhood. As a matter of fact, Mirpur 12 is a super busy area with hundreds of restaurants- from normal to sophisticated ones - but all remain crowded which I don’t enjoy. However, I went to this place ( IZ Patisserie and Cafe) accidentally in one of the mornings while I was looking for coffee. The moment I went inside, I fell for the ambience - calm, quiet and chilling vibe with nice instrumental music playing in the background, and serving only a handful of people. It was the ‘Eureka’ moment for me. Honestly, all I want is a place where you can sit in peace without the loud noise or hustle and bustle of crowd. However, that’s the morning’s story. But apparently, evenings could be as crowded as other places, went only once in the evening and saw rush with quite loud music.. probably because they try to match the Bangladeshi Customer’s Taste (!!!)?
[I and my friends would prefer quieter cafes and restaurants where we can talk and listen to each other, but most of the restaurants in Dhaka don’t offer such environments.]
Anyway, I have been to the place almost every morning that entire week for a cup of coffee and Pain Au Chocolates mostly (my favourite one). But the taste of the coffee could be improved. I also tried the English Breakfast on my last day, it was okay, liked the sausage and sunny...
