From the moment you step into this restaurant, you'll be greeted by swarms of mosquitos that seem to have taken up permanent residence in the dining area. Despite the best efforts of the staff to keep them at bay with citronella candles and other deterrents, the mosquitos are persistent and seem to be immune to all forms of pest control. As you try to enjoy your meal, you'll find yourself constantly swatting and scratching, trying to avoid being bitten by these unwelcome dinner guests. And while the food itself may be delicious, it's hard to fully appreciate it when you're distracted by the constant hum of mosquitos in your ears. To make matters worse, the restaurant's outdoor seating area is particularly prone to mosquitos, so if you're looking to enjoy a meal al fresco, be prepared to douse yourself in bug spray and wear long sleeves and pants to avoid getting bitten. During my recent visit to Palm View Restaurant after a decade, the first thing that caught my attention was the impressive ambiance and atmosphere. Situated alongside a golf course, the restaurant offers delightful views, particularly from its semi-outdoor seating area. The establishment was not overly crowded, allowing me to relish the tranquility and peacefulness.

Regarding the food, we decided to begin with a combination starter consisting of chicken fry, prawn on toast, and chicken wonton. For our main course, we selected Chicken Valencia and Spaghetti Bolognese. While the food was not exceptionally outstanding, it was still tasty. The prawn on toast was satisfactory, and the crispy layer of the fried chicken could have been improved. However, the quantity of food provided for the main course more than justified the price. Both the spaghetti and the chicken portion were generous enough for a single person. I believe that slightly reducing the dryness of the spaghetti would greatly enhance its overall appeal.
