Callisto — Restaurant in Rajshahi Division

Callisto is an absolute trendsetter. If you have friends in Rajshahi, you can't ignore the OG trend started back at the beginning of quarantine. Yes, it is the beautiful red chair from this same restaurant. Whoever planned that design detail is absolutely a marketing genius. This place literally aced in terms of interior design and environment.

One thing that may seem unsettling to you, there are not many waiters available every time. Maybe they have a small team to maintain the whole restaurant, and as an introvert person who loves to be alone, I somewhat loved this part. But as an average person, this may bug you a bit.

Price is a great term to determine whether a restaurant is doing great or not, especially in the vast competition of lots of grossing restaurants in Rajshahi. But Callisto did a good job, I should say. No food here isn't cheap, and they have good quality with great taste. I personally think if you plan your dishes before ordering, you can eat a decent amount with minimal money. For example, Item 35 is actually a fast-food platter, targeted to 2-3 people. You can go there with a homie and order it with some coke, yes kind of minimal spending, but the quantity is pretty decent. If you both aren't totally empty, the food will be more than enough.

A little tip for the people who came all the way down here, there's actually a little porch where you can dine, but people mostly use it as a smoking zone. If you want to eat there, it's ideal, but you'll have to reject several cordial requests...

Average food. The shashlik, fried rice platter and the chicken drum, fried rice platter and fried chicken momo was ordered. The chicken in both platter was splattered with bbq sauce. Too much sauce was ruining the appetite. Rest of the items in the platter was good enough. The momo was also okay.

Service was very slow and poor. Took around 40 minutes to serve food. Didn’t even gave me my ordered water or drink in the waiting time. They asked if the food was okay at the end. When I told them there was too much sauce used. The server told me it's because the chicken was juicy and gravy item emon e hoy. :)

The place has good atmosphere but needs more maintenance. Floor needs to be cleaned more frequently. Saw a cockroach beside my table.

Interior is great, service is great but food wasn't up to the mark.couldnt take picture of the food as went there in a hurry. Thai soup and wanton were good. The platter, which consists of chicken wedges, Chinese vegetables, some sweet tasted chicken, and fried rice, was quite bad. Chicken wedges were so chewy, vegetable was watery, other chicken pieces were too sweet to eat, and fried rice was overcooked as well. I hope that was just a bad day for the restaurant. Otherwise this restaurant has so much potential because service was really good and ambience as well. Hope they will...
