I was very disappointed with the experience at boats, being my first time there and it was highly recommended by a friend. My party of 4 had to wait an hour & 15 mins for our food. When the food arrived, items were missing and the food overall was cold “felt like it had just been warmed up” I complained to the owner/manager and all that was said was “Sorry but people who make reservations take precedence to walk ins” as if making a reservation (which he didn’t know if we made or not) determines the length of time it takes to get food to the table. Words cannot fully describe how lovely this entire dining experience was. From the moment we walked in the staff was welcoming, friendly and their service on point straight through the night. Their menu has a little of everything for everyone. We ordered Fishcakes and Tuna Tar Tar for the table to share and for mains I had the Vegetable Yellow Thai Curry with Basmati Rice & Plantain Chutney which spoke to my soul! So good! They have Chicken & Seafood options for this dish as well. Also tasted the Parmesan Crusted Mahi Mahi which was equally delicious, fresh and filling. Me & my son had a fantastic time at the boats bar & grill in oistins the food was amazing we had the fish if the day which was gorgeous we had to go back this time we had the chicken teaka kebabs my son had the fish surf & turf the meat was so tender and lovely flavour 😋 and the cocktails were amazing mixed just right all mixed with the whole place with the two outside setting area and up stairs over looking the bay it's a great place to chill out day or night, night life at night not only that the staff are amazing aswell very helpful & polite the chef was great ( who is a woman) say no more!!
