I can really recommend this restaurant. You will be immersed in the Greek culture and traditions.

First of all, the food is excellent. This restaurant offers a wide variety of Greek specialties. The Greek food has a specific taste, so you must be a fan. Since the Greek food culture has many things to offer, I can really recommend ordering some different “mezes” and sharing them.

Secondly, the service is great. The waiters are responsive and they are hard-working people. Most guys who serve there, have Greek roots. This makes you feel like you’re really on a vacation in Greece. The only disadvantage of this is that most of the waiters do not talk Dutch and do not have a high level of English. So you can’t order in your foreign language, which makes it hard to ask more difficult questions about allergies or other ingredients-related questions.

Additional to the great service, this restaurant offers a great atmosphere. The decorations are authentic and unique Greek pieces. On Fridays, they invite a live band that plays traditional Greek music. If you are finished eating and want to dance to the music, feel free to do so because the staff encourages this, as long as it doesn’t bother other clients while eating.

Lastly, I want to end with a little misconception. Last year, the restaurant opened another restaurant further down the street. This second restaurant offers Greek street food. Its whole concept is inspired by that, so they don’t have a lot of tables. When you want to make a reservation via phone, you often end up in the wrong place since it isn’t clear which phone number belongs to which restaurant.

Despite this misconception; the excellent food, service, and atmosphere should convince you to bring a visit here. You definitely...

We drove from Brussels to this restaurant in Antwerp because this restaurant was highly recommended by my greek staff. Live music is good but I would not recommend sitting inside if you want to hear each other as the place is small and compacted. The service was not at its top. However the white wine was exceptional. The starters that we ordered were okay crispy fried goats cheese with tomato sauce, fried calamari was not so remarkable either. For the main dish we ordered a mixed grill, which didn’t arrive after an hour of waiting so we decided to cancel and leave. Everyone’s order who came after us arrived but not ours. They came and went, and they obviously saw that our oder was still not there but none of them bothered to ask. As we cancelled and obviously we were disappointed, no apologies for the long wait and for any inconvenience either. We were disenchanted & don’t think i’d recommend this restaurant. On the downside, I was disappointed with the restroom facilities. The toilet was dirty and lacked basic amenities like toilet papers, towels, or hand dryers, making it inconvenient for guests.
