La table méditerranéenne — Restaurant in Aywaille

A good, largely Moroccan cuisine-offering restaurant, located in the idyllic, touristically attractive valley of the river Amblève, just opposite the entrance to the world-famous Grottes de Remouchamps. I trust that the food of the meals is cooked from scratch. Also, I particularly liked the softness and taste of the vegetables in my Couscous dish. A popular restaurant that is appreciated regionally and where local citizens come by for a festive meal and to be spoilt gastronomically. Also noteworthy: attentive and kind waiter service. We will be back to “Table Méditerranéenne”, this time with the idea of including the visit of the nearby “Grottes”...

Ouvert depuis 4 ans, nous y sommes allés par hasard, ce restaurant vaut le détour pour ses tajines incomparables, succulentes cuitent doucement, bien à l'avance, à un prix démocratique +- 18 euros, fraîches du jour mais, quand il n'y en a plus, ben y en a plus, alors si vous voulez les déguster, ou y aller à plusieurs réservez les, un ou deux jours à l'avance, au citron, au poulet, au gigot, aux légumes, aux petits pois et artichaut... le tout cuisiné par le patron et servi par le patron alors les pressés passez votre chemin ou alors il faut laisser le temps qu’il faut car la qualité cela prend son temps. N’hésitez pas à y aller. Et...

The staff was very polite and friendly. We ordered the soup, tajine chicken and the couscous chicken. All very delicious. As Moroccans ourselves, this took us home...
