Da Sergio 🇮🇹 — Restaurant in Blankenberge

Came all the way from Luxembourg to have one of my favourite Italian restaurants' cuisine and wasn't disappointed.

The food is amazing, great servings and neat presentation. The classics are perfect (bolognese/carbonara/lasagna/..) and the other dishes too.

Last time there weren't any lasagna ready and the server proposed an alternative which was similar. (Greatly appreciate the guidance).

The staff is quick, efficient and welcoming. The restaurant is disability friendly, accessible to wheelchairs without issues and the waiters are very attentive to special needs.

Too bad it's so far away and I can't visit...

This was supposed to be the best italian restaurant in town. Well. I ordered a Penne Arrabiata. The sauce was good, but the pasta was so overcooked that the penne falled apart on the fork. Was it just overcooked? Og maybe heated up in the microwave? The restaurant it selv was cosy, but the youngest waiter was not able to deliver som water upon request. There should be better places in this city. Fix the pasta and...

Onverwachts met een koppel die al gereserveerd had meegekomen en na een telefoontje vooraf was er gelukkig nog mogelijkheid om van tafel voor 2 tot tafel voor 4 over te gaan. Wat hier toch uitzonderlijk is want zonder reservatie moet men heel wat volk teleurstellend naar buiten sturen.

Er was nog niet meteen plaats maar konden aan een tafeltje bij de inkom nadat onze jassen werden aangenomen voor de vestiaire nog wat wachten. Na 10tal minuten konden we aan tafel.

Onze bestelling werd zeer vlug opgenomen. Ik koos voor de lasagna, en mijn gezelschap voor de tagliatelle carbonara en 3 assortiment pasta’s die je per 2 personen dient te nuttigen. Het zijn middelmatige porties die enorm lekker zijn! We hebben er de witte Italiaanse huiswijn bijgenomen die zeer in de smaak viel. Ook nadien nog dessert bij genuttigd. Ik koos hier voor de cremé brulee die aan tafel werd geflambeerd. Heel leuk.

Ik kan alleen maar lof spreken over deze lekkere Italiaan waarbij je je alles nuttigt in een zeer mooi gezellig enterieur met zeer vriendelijke service en die zeker niet duur is. +-30€ p.p.
