Outstanding Shrimp Croquettes, but Lacking Ambiance and Disappointing Kibbeling

The shrimp croquettes here are truly exceptional crispy on the outside, packed with rich, flavorful shrimp filling on the inside.

Even a renowned Belgian Michelin-star chef hailed them as the best along the Belgian coast.

However, the dining experience falls short elsewhere. The restaurant lacks a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the kibbeling was quite underwhelming dry and more like to fish fingers than the fresh, flaky pieces you’d expect. Worth a visit for the croquettes, but manage your expectations...

Not the typical area you might visit but it’s good to pass by this brasserie and if you are able to get the window side seat, it’s very lovely to seat during sunny weather.

The staffs are very friendly and the Italian coffee and the desserts were very good. I only gave 4 since I haven’t tried out...

Een verborgen plekje waar de mama's en papa's tot rust kunnen komen!

Honden welkom en krijgen direct aan de ingang de mogelijkheid om fris/vers water te drinken.

Eten is eenvoudig, maar lekker. Croque special was zeer lekker. De garnaalkroketten ook.

Lekkere en verzorgde sangria met vers fruit.

Vriendelijke mensen.

Sanitair OK, hoewel iets meer controle een meerwaarde kan betekenen.

Een natuurlijke tuin. Zoals ik het graag heb. Voor sommigen kan ik me inbeelden dat het 'onverzorgd' overkomt.

Enige wat ik er aan zou veranderen is de omheining wat laten dichtgroeien met vb. haagwinde of een ander klimmend onkruid. Een paar bomen bij planten. Misschien ook wat meer parasols. En de trampoline zou ik ingraven.

Wij komen zeker...
