There are some downsides to this property (room 222): There is no usable parking. You have to drive across to backside-street and there you can park for free. 200m walk. There is no airco in that room. Instead you get 20€-cheap Chinese fan. The room was very stuffy. There are chairs inside, kinda “sit and relax”, but they are really unstable, you easily can lose your balance and fall off. Do not recommend using those, I fell and hit my head against the wall. Toilet bowl installed very close to the wall with other installation so you literally cannot sit straight on it. In the shower there is no shelf for shampoos and your only option is to put your stuff on the floor The bed is rather uncomfortable. Breakfast not included. 125€ for the room with no airco and you cannot offer eggs or sandwiches...

Wonderful location in this small suburb of Antwerp, food and particular breakfast was lovely. The breakfast is not included but reasonably priced, 15 Euro for the yoghurt and a good large cup of tea. Only two complaints about the dinner we had, firstly the beer didn't flow fast enough through the tap 🤣🍺 and the second is maybe more on me, but the barbecue sauce was more a combination of sweet chilisauce and chili flakes. I'm more into the American way, where the sauces are mostly based on brown sugar. I saw the same sauce in the next restaurant we visited, so it's probably a regionally thing 😉 Meat was delicious and tender, off the bone 🦴 I'd stay there...

This place will not suit everyone. It's not a standard hotel but more of a bistro/pub with rooms. While you may not get all the amenities of a regular hotel what you do get is very friendly and personal service. It's a very popular location for locals for eating and their food does not disappoint. You can sit inside or outside (which is more popular) or have a bar snack. The rooms were large and very clean. We loved it. Bus stops are very close if you want to take the bus...
