The passionate and highly skilled team behind Floris create an amazing dining experience, not to be missed. Professional and efficient service without the pretentious attitude. Lovely, stylish interior. Stunning food. Very well excecuted. Clean and distinct flavours with each dish maintaining the integrity of every ingredient. It’s hard to pick a favourite out of the 4 course Summer Menu but if I had to it would be the Mackerel. An excellent way to begin a meal. Not to mention the amuse bouche were great too! The mussels and the plaice were cooked to perfection. The vegetables that accompanied the beef were one of the most interesting garnish combinations I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. Wij vroegen Chef Floris om op 22 januari een verrassingslunch te bereiden. De basis ingrediënten dienden te zijn: oesters, Sint-Jacobsvruchten en kreeft, voor de rest had Chef Floris carte blanche.

Het werd een waaier van verfrissende originele toetsen die van elk gerecht iets speciaals en uniek maakten. De zaak zat afgeladen vol en toch kreeg hij het voor elkaar.

Zijn echtgenote Virginie slaagt er perfect in om iedereen persoonlijk te ontvangen, de klant te begeleiden naar hun tafel en dit met de glimlach. De klant voelt zich onmiddellijk welkom en thuis.

Virginie heeft ook de kunst in zich om met een flair en in een mum van tijd elke tafel correct en op tijd te bedienen. Al is het nog een jong Restaurant, Chef Floris innoveert en evolueert steeds naar een hoger niveau samen met zijn echtgenote.

Al was de opdracht om onze wensen, boven op de normale mise en place van het menu te realiseren, waren onze gerechten een subliem gastronomisch orgasme.
