Restaurant Cabanelf — Restaurant in Edegem

Party of four, what was to be a jolly gathering, and indeed it was. We went for the menu "CabanElf" and not one single moment of disappointment (in total 6 courses). From the outside, you'll never guess what to expect, but once inside it feels promising. The place looks like a movie set from a Wes Anderson film.

Friendly host, serving at the bar, great red Port to start with, and a nice amuse gueule. The menu was extremely balanced, dishes are prepared in a lovely manner. All courses with their accompanied wine of excellent choice. The chef definitely gets a high appreciation from me.

Gisteren voor eerste keer daar gaan eten, onthaal zeer goed, goede menu met een lekkere fles wijn erbij, echter vanaf dessert liep het helemaal mis, bijna uur zonder drinken gezeten, dan vroegen we koffie en kreeg enkel melkkan en snoepjes, vroeg nogmaals achter koffie en kreeg weer melkkan en snoepjes, dan de rekening gevraagd maar uiteindelijk naar uitgang gegaan om daar de best wel heel prijzige rekening te betalen, er kon nog geen mercie of goedendag af , laat ons zeggen we sloten in mineur af, eten was lekker maar service verschrikkelijk , jammer voor zulke zaak, dit was dus 1 keer...
