Bakery Fonk — Restaurant in Eupen

Excellent bakery!! We loved the sandwiches and pastries, such an amazing selection of goodies on offer and all tasted so fresh. The staff member who served us was very lovely and welcoming. The food and coffee were good. However, the organization to order and pay is complicated and the staff was unfriendly. You cannot order at the counter if you are eating there, they take long to take the order, and you cannot pay at the table but only at the counter. Lastly, they refuse to take your payment if you don't know the table number, which in our case, had not been placed in the table before we tried to pay. I would not...

Bedienung ließ uns mehrmals warten; nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen wurde dann endlich unsere Bestellung aufgenommen. Wartezeit war mehr oder weniger in Ordnung, könnte jedoch besser sein.

Der Chef-Salat war ohne Krautsalat, Möhren und Käse, dementsprechend eine sehr magere Portion, die bestenfalls für kleine Kinder angemessen ist, obschon alle drei genannten Zutaten enthalten sein sollten. Das was vorhanden war, war aber recht lecker.

Auf expliziter Nachfrage bekamen wir nur als Antwort, dass es angeblich keine Möhren mehr gäbe - auf das Fehlen des Krautsalats wurde gar nicht erst eingegangen. Und auf meine Frage, ob wir einen Rabat/Entschädigung erhalten würden, wurde auf den Chef verwiesen, an den wir uns richten sollten. Mit 8,25€ / Salat war es angesichts der fehlenden Zutaten milde gesagt eine Frechheit.

Fazit: das ist keine Kundenfreundlichkeit! Nicht mal eine Entschuldigung hat es gegeben. Ich bin maßlos enttäuscht und werde nicht mehr hingehen....
