Coppola — Restaurant in Genk

I am a costumer for almost 4..5 years now..the last ew times wasn't great there..related to food actually! Even though they serve a very good food.. But if they make faults they will just tell you to understand...but understand what...

So...today, my partner organized a nice evening for us there, cause he actually knows that I only like the carbonara from Coppola! But I ended up eating hair from my dish...and then our whole evening was flipped upside down! Of course no appetite..nothing..and then they said that we need to understand! .there were only 3 tables busy in the whole resturant...so I actually didn't understand!

The last few times I ignored it, but this time I am very sure, sorry...but never again!!!!! Check your dish before you bring it out to the customer... do you...

As an Italian always travelling I am usually very cautious when trying Italian restaurants outside of Italy. However, this place truly impressed me. The flavors are authentic, the ingredients are clearly of excellent quality, and every dish respects the tradition without unnecessary compromises. From the pasta to the desserts, everything tasted exactly as it should. The staff was welcoming and attentive, creating a warm atmosphere that made me feel at home. Zeer jammer maar ik kom hier niet meer. 4de keer dat ik hier kom op korte tijd, over het eten helemaal niet te klagen en de bediening in het verleden ook niet. Maar als je aan een hoge tafel gezet word, met enorm ongemakkelijke stoelen ( om letterlijk rugpijn van te krijgen), je dit aangeeft en je vraagt of er nog een gewoon tafeltje is, maar die erblijkbaar niet, om dan nog geen 15 min later iemand te zien binnenkomen, zonder reservatie en nog geen 5 min later aan een tafel zitten.. Dit kan er bij mij niet in. Vind niet dat je zoiets doet tov eender welke klant, en zeker niet als ze het hele gesprek kunnen horen.
