Mia — Restaurant in Genk

We landed at Pizzeria Mia by chance, mid-way to our final destination in Bree, and we were hungry for pizza. The pizzeria is located in the basement of a house which appeared a bit odd at first glance, but as soon as we stepped in, we were treated like Kings! We asked if we could eat on the garden tables outside, but instead they invited in the back kitchen where a table was ready for us. No fancy table cloth or decoration, we were backstage and we immediately felt like if we were part of their family. We chatted with the owners, we played guitar, we were offered delicious home made starters and wine, pizzas were delicious and we ended supper with the Nutella pizza and amazing homemade Limoncello.
