It’s quite not organized as customers can actually take the order (self service) from the left and the right side but most of us assume it’s only on the right side but it’s not the case. There are enough place for people to seat down and eat depending on how busy the place can be. Other than that it’s a good place for a good price dining for lunch or dinner or even for a snack to grab cake or hot beverages.

Komen lunchen op een zaterdagmiddag in maart in Ikea Gent. Het was er heel druk, ook op de parking was het echt zoeken naar een vrij plaatsje. We hebben ongeveer een halfuur moeten aanschuiven, het fruitwater met framboos was helaas op. Je moet blijkbaar zelf rucola nemen bij de kaaskroket. De tafels waren nagenoeg allemaal volzet. Er is een speelhoek wat leuk is voor mensen met kinderen. Echter is hier zeer veel gekrijs met vaak afwezige ouders, wat de sfeer tot rustig eten compleet bederft. Het lijkt wel alsof je hier in een kinderspeeltuin eet. Er was een actie geldig op de Zweedse balletjes die het budgetvriendelijk(er) maakt. Zeer lekker en vooral betaalbaar eten! De tortelloni (nieuw) was superlekker, zowel van saus als groenten. Een echte aanrader en hopelijk een keeper!

een TOPPER Een aangename verrassing als afsluiter van het winkelen bij IKEA. Een lekkere maaltijd aan een onklopbare prijs. We missen te veel gelegenheden om 'een hap te gaan eten 'buitenshuis' , zonder een flinke hap uit onze portemonnee. Het kan er ongedwongen, voor naar huis terug te keren, in het restaurant dat ruim is, open met veel licht en met veel zitplaatsen; er is een ruime keuze aan lekkere schotels, met (ook) apart extra groenten. Vooral de zeer vriendelijke bediening valt op en is welgevallig. Een bezoek aan de Ikea- winkel en het restaurant is telkens ontspannend en aangenaam.

een TOPPER Een aangename verrassing als afsluiter van het winkelen bij IKEA. Een lekkere maaltijd aan een onklopbare prijs. I always enjoy stopping by the IKEA Restaurant in Ghent when shopping for home goodies. The food is delicious, especially the famous Swedish meatballs with lingonberry sauce - so tasty! The vegetarian options are great too, and I love that they offer healthy and kid-friendly meals.

The restaurant is clean, bright, and well-organized, with plenty of seating. The staff is friendly and efficient, even during busy hours. And of course, you can’t beat the affordable prices - great value for the quality!

We'd already gotten what we needed in a bag, It was frustrating that the exits from the restaurant were closed, meaning we had to go through checkout again.
