Update from October : omg, I think I finally found my favorite recipe on the menu... 😍 Kenny's revenge is really THE best 👌 I had a quick stop there the other day, after missing my train because of the pouring rain and a GPS that got me lost instead of to the station... I decided to enjoy a hot meal before to leave. I let the waiter know that I was gonna be in and out more or less cause I had to catch a train. He directly let the chef know and my plate came instantly. Big thanks for your service and your amazing recipe!...

I went to Bavet recently for the first time recently. It was rather lacklustre gastronomic experience.

I chose the 'Create-Your-Own' meal concept with the 'Bavet Special' as the base. It was quite bizarre to be served the 3 meatballs on the edge of the bowl; this left the meatballs cold. Aren't meatballs served in the sauce? 🤔It is clear that everything is cooked separately and served on the plate individually.

The waiting staff were excellent but their efforts will not boost the food...

Seriously incredible spaghetti, the best all four of us ever had! At first we thought it was odd going out for spaghetti in Belgium but we did not regret! There’s a lot of variety and personalisation on the menu but the staff are super friendly and spoke great English which also made us feel welcome after a few opposite experiences during our travels.
