Food with Varinder — Restaurant in La Hulpe

PLEASE NOTE THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE LEUVEN LOCATION** Been here 3 times within 2 months , needless to say that the food is excellent , ingredients are Fresh and the people who serve it are super friendly and dedicated . I give 5 stars on Food , Service and Atmosphere... Although there is in my opinion also 1 big negative point to remark .... Being here 3 times in 2 months we have been served EXACTLY THE SAME dishes each time we dined there .... To be more correct 2 x times it was exactly the same and the 3rd time only the salad had slightly different ingredients and the Tzatziki was replaced by Iranian yoghurt... Please I really want to underline that all the food is simply delicious and for sure a MUST stop for every Veggie lover .... But unfortunately for this restaurant ..if you been there once ..you have seen it all ...; Really would love to experience totally different other veggie dishes at this place and I do believe for returning customers a monthly adaptation could do wonders for this unique...

The food is DELICIOUS and the service is above and beyond. We found this vegetarian restaurant by luck, decided to try it and... Gosh it made our day! High quality food (israeli sabih was 👌). The Restaurant is owned by the sweetest Iranian couple. They care about details, they care that you enjoy your food, you can feel they want you to have a good day, and you feel like you are invited to eat in 'in their house'. (you'll actually even find some of their personal life pictures inside). We couldn't decide which dessert to get and we got samples of everything (which btw were not really 'samples', quiet big parts!). I have never felt so welcomed in a restaurant in my life. This place is a hidden gem. Can't wait...

I highly recommend this place, especially being Vegetarian and having limited choices when it comes to restaurants, it definitely is now on my top list! The food was absolutely delicious and the servers were super friendly and welcoming. I am so glad to have discovered this place and look forward to trying more of Varinder's tasty dishes hopefully soon. I had the Israeli Sabih and cleaned up the plate. For dessert we weren't sure what to have since everything looked so good and ended up sharing and trying them all! I loved them all so much, with the cheesecake winning by a tiny bit.
