Monik — Restaurant in La Hulpe

This place is NOT worth visiting. The worst cuatomer service I’ve ever encountered. The service is beyond terrible and slow. I went here to telework and had a coffee. When i was ready to leave and pay I was pointed at with a QR Code to pay. When i kindly explain that I was not able to pay with that option and wanted to pay by card (as they promise you can do) I was told to go get cash since their card reader didn’t work. When I said that I did not have time for that nor possibility to withdraw money from a foreign atm they asked me to come back another time to pay. I do not live here so that would not be possible. As a response I was told that I should not come to their ”restaurant” to use their electricity and only order a coffe. According to them they are not a caffee where you can ”just” buy one coffee . Despite asking them first thing if it was ok to plug in my computer and work there.

It was also interesting to know that eating was required especially when I was only presented with a menu for drinks and never asked if i wanted to order something to eat.

I went with se friend to say goodbye to a great friend that is moving abroad. And it was a grateful surprise to be received by the staff with a tastefull menu.
