Hanami — Restaurant in Liège

BAD on different areas!!!

Where to even begin.. when we entered they made us wait for quite long even though the restaurant was empty. They were busy with preparing something..

We had to ask them two times and had to ask them "please bring at least some drinks to start with". On third appearance thet took the order and the food came relatively quick. . Every dish was FILLED WITH SALT!! Not sure if they know the habit of making food with everything medium and provide things like salt on table. We couldn't even eat anything much and specifically one curry - due to the dangerous amount of salt (believe me, we can take some salty dishes .. but this was too much!!)

After this bad experience, they made us wait 10-15 mins or even after them asking for bill.. had to count in minutes on watch!!

Then it was time for last event. They don't accept card.. I had to try everything I know to make them understand we could send money via bank and finally we made it happen with some struggles!

Overall I would avoid this place anyday, anytime!!

May be it's super good place according to the reviews.. may be they had a bad day. But this was one of the baddest experience from a restaurant in my 5...

Je me suis fait livrer ce 14 août un canard laqué, la sauce était périmée, rien qu’a l’odeur on le sentait et quand je l’ai goutee j’ai failli vomir, j’ai tel le resto en disant que cela pouvait arriver mais que j’appelais pour éviter que d’autres clients en pâtissent mais la patronne m’a dit que je mentais alors que j’ai mangé du canard laqué partout à liege et à maastricht, que je connais le goût qu’elle doit avoir par coeur et ça ne m’est jamais arrivé, je n’ai eu aucune excuse ni geste commercial alors que j’ai commandé pour 50 eur chez eux Jamais plus chez Hanami

Suite a la réponse de la patronne Vous pourrez voir que d'après mes autres avis Google je ne suis pas une personne qui s'amuse à se plaindre des restos, mais dans ce cas ci votre sauce était vraiment périmée, rien que de la sentir on en avait des hauts le cœur, et sa couleur suspecte, ne parlons pas de son goût, j'ai du la recracher, alors oui il faisait très chaud mais alors ne proposez pas ce plat la ce jour là alors, vous pouvez essayer de vous dédouaner mais je suis certaine de ce que j'avance, et j'aurai juste voulu un geste commercial comme me rembourser ce plat par exemple car un canard laqué sans sauce n'est plus un...
