O Rodizio by les caves du Portugal — Restaurant in Liège

Unfortunately the food was a disappointment, I asked carne a Alentejana one of the most delicious dishes from Portugal. Meat was dry chewy with a weird flavor. The bacalhau á brás, was dry and zero flavor not even salt. We felt as well they are focusing in the rodizio concept and not putting enough effort in the Portuguese cuisine, on top of that you will get a bump or two from the waiter that is cutting the rodizio meat at the table ext to you. Never had a Cuba Libre with granulated sugar I guess is one of the concept there as well. P.S. the Restaurant...

The food is good and the service friendly, but some types of meat are only served with their "all you can eat" meat menu, which costs almost 50 euros at the time of writing this, and some meats arrived so late that I was already more than full by then. I would much rather have an initial sampling of every meat and be able to reorder whatever I liked most than the current format. Or have a mixed grill single plate, because all you can eat meat option is just plain overkill and a waste of money for...

Déçu mais néanmoins avec un bon potentiel pour le futur. Clairement le gros point noir est que la viande est vraiment vraiment trop salée. Nous en avons parler au tenancier, qui est apparemment déjà au courant du problème. Il en a déjà toucher un mot à son cuisinier mais pas d'amélioration, il nous promis d'en reparler. Pourtant on voyant qu'il s'agissait de viande de très bonne qualité. Sièges en cuire alors qu'il faisait chaud, trop chaud, pas agréable de manger dans ces conditions. On se sent néanmoins à l'aise, personnel sympathique et volontaire. Sinon les deux cocktails étaient plutôt réussis. Etant deux allergiques au poisson, j'aurai également aimé qu'on m'offre une alternative aux croquettes de morue de l'entrée. Enfin dernier point, on commande nos apéritifs, après, les amuses-bouches arrivent ainsi que les cocktails mais 5 min plus tard, on nous met déjà la viande dans nos assiettes,...ça refroidit que je n'ai pas eu le temps de savourer mon cocktail...et avec ma viande, je préfère du vin rouge. Dommage encore une fois. Sinon une personne qui vient découper la viande dans notre assiette, c'est dépaysant et typique, j'adore. Cadre sympa et musique ensoleillée.
