L'Endroit — Restaurant in Malmedy

I was very disappointed with my visit to L'Endroit. The menu is extremely limited, with most options consisting of raw meat dishes. For those who prefer cooked meals or more variety, this restaurant is not the place to go. The lack of choices left me unsatisfied, and it felt like there was little effort to cater to different tastes or dietary preferences. Entramos en este local esperando que fuera de esos de paso… de los que están buenos, sí, pero sin más. Y sabéis eso de que, cuantas menos expectativas tengas, mejor? Pues eso es lo que nos ha pasado, ya que la comida estaba muy, muy rica. Con cada uno a acertado. Top por eso! Las cantidades son grandes, id con hambre. Eso sí, la amabilidad del personal (dos camareros en especial, porque no me gusta hacer generalizaciones, cuando se puede diferenciar) deja mucho que desear. Sé que la hostelería es chunga, pero si es donde estáis trabajando, al menos una sonrisa al pedir comanda hay que tener. . 🇩🇪 Wir betraten diesen Restaurant, weil wir glauben, würde es “Normal”... von denen, die gut sind, ja, aber ohne mehr. Und ihr wisst, je weniger Erwartungen wir haben, desto besser :) So ist es uns auch ergangen, denn das Essen war sehr, sehr lecker. Mit jedem erfolgreich. Top dafür! Hier sollt ihr mit Hunger kommen. Natürlich lässt die Freundlichkeit des Personals (insbesondere zwei Kellner, weil ich nicht gerne verallgemeinere, wenn man differenzieren kann) zu wünschen übrig. Ich weiß, dass die Hotellerie zwielichtig ist, aber wenn man dort arbeitet, muss man zumindest ein Lächeln auf den Lippen haben, wenn man nach...

Lacking in all regards and way too expensive for what you get. Don't order the tuna, it tastes funny. The gamba wasn't clean properly and still had the poop vein in it which also had sand in it — unpleasant. The servers are relatively polite, but will not hesitate to reach over your plate while you're eating to yank the salt mill off of your table because they need it at another table...
