McDonald's — Restaurant in Overijse

My experience at this place was nothing short of a disaster. I strongly advise anyone considering it to stay far away. I brought my child here for dinner with his friends, and the evening quickly turned into a nightmare.

First off, when I tried to pay a 30+ euro bill with a 200€ note, I was shocked to be met with outright hostility. Not only did they refuse to accept the money, but the staff member in charge had the audacity to insult me for not having smaller bills. There was no sign or notice anywhere indicating that 200€ notes weren’t accepted, which made the situation even more frustrating.

The condition of the restrooms was appalling. There was no soap in the men's toilets, and when my son asked for some, he was dismissively told to use the women’s restroom instead. To our dismay, those were filthy and lacked soap as well. Despite being assured that someone would restock the soap, nothing was done by the time we left, making it impossible to properly wash our hands.

The food quality was equally disappointing. Our meals were served cold, and when I went to get ice cream for my son, it was already melting and running down the cone by the time it was handed to me.

This establishment is a complete disgrace. The lack of basic hygiene, poor customer service, and subpar food left me utterly disappointed. I will never return, and I urge others to avoid this place...

Recently renovated and now table service. The quality of service has fallen through the floor and you now have to wait an absurd amount of time to get the best incorrect and/or cold food brought to you.

This is not the case in the other McDsworking in this way (Waterloo for example)

Today, staff behind the remaining cash deal stood and watched me try 3 different terminals despite knowing full well that they would not accept cards.

It's a pity, I avoided fast food places for years until kids came along and then realised that McDs was kinda ok for what it was. Now, this branch at least, is just unpleasant and to be avoided.

Oh, one more thing, they never seem to have soap in...

This is the 3rd experience at McDonald's when some part of the order was missing in our take-out order. All at different branches of McDonald's, so the 1 star is not specifically for this outlet but for McDonald's in general. For the 1st two times I let it go as a mistake but now the 3rd time the same thing happened and so felt compelled to write the feedback. This time around in the 2 happy meals 1 Frosty was missing as were both the cherry tomatoes..so in all 3 things missing. Earlier once both the happy meals were missing the toys. From now on will try to avoid McDonald's and if I still go, will check each...
