Malakit Toog — Restaurant in Tervuren

Way too overpriced, the food was good but you are paying wayyy more than the value for what you are getting. Malakite water sounds like a scam sorry, it was tap water in a jug with a stone inside and we wered charged 5 euros for that?? Who is falling for these things nowadays be real. Food took too long to arrive and found the quantify was small for what you are paying for. Ambiance was great, that's one of the only redeeming qualities of the restaurant. If only they can make the prices more competitive and according to the market, they could actually be something interesting. They could lean in to the vibrancy of their cuisine and bring it to Brussels- a much more dynamic and competitive market...

I didn’t put 5 stars just because yesterday the restaurant was having a very specific evening promoting some rums therefore the actual restaurant was not working as per usual : we had to stand in order to eat and there was only finger food in very small portions so I actually left quite hungry . The food that I did have was absolutely delicious and the service was very friendly . I would like to come back when the restaurant is running...

This was one of the best restaurants I've ever visited! The food was DELICIOUS! An adventure into the cuisine from the continent of Africa. Rich flavours, a combination of sweet and savoury. However, I found a little problem. The menu seemed too small despite the promising taste of the food.
