We visited here Sunday 3rd October 2021, on the third day of our trip back to the UK. This café much like 't Centrum and Café Christophe which we also visited earlier in the evening is located on the attractive main square. It was getting a little late now and after a short walk looking for another place in the Belgian Good Beer Guide we gave up and decided on here instead. Naturally being late, quite chilly now, we headed straight inside. I never even noted whether there was outdoor seating however suspect that there would be as all the others do.
It was a little bit more modern looking in here, the three staff we saw were also younger, however the clientele was still quite mixed. Most folk were just drinking, I suspect because it was close to the end of the evening. The layout was similar to the previous bar (Christophe) the bar was on the left hand side, a little bit of seating in front but then most was opposite running parallel against the wall. The girl serving us was fastidious about cleaning and getting the table symmetry correct when tidying up those that had been recently vacated.
The beer choice was good but not amazing, but I still found a beer that I had not had called 'Pauline' with relative ease. We liked this place it had a pleasant vibe, the young staff seemed keen and enthusiastic. Admittedly it was not my favourite here in Veurne but it was still well worth a visit and we're glad that we did, it would be interesting to revisit...
