This has to be one of the best places for Gyros in Brussels! I had a fantastic Pita Gyros Classique here. They had the perfect proportion of meat, vegetables and sauce. Maybe it's the end of the day, gyros are all gone. The Kanisos salad was really awful, given with leftover meat and not fresh salad leaves, topped with a heavy snow of mayonnaise. It’s a shock comparing with previous dining quality. I was a frequent customer and had brought many friends to eat there. So disappointed the excuse was just a misunderstanding that I didn’t precisely indicate that I wanted a real Greek salad. Delighted that this place opened up near where I live. It certainly upgrades the food offerings near the plaza.

I grew up next to a predominantly Greek neighborhood that had souvlaki sold at carts. Kanisos brings me back to my childhood in the best way.

At this point I've almost ordered 90% of their menu; and I've enjoyed almost all of their offerings. Fantastic gyros, and pork souvlaki.
