This was a unique and delicious meal, but read the other reviews about the price. I guess it was my fault for not asking, but in a country where meals range from 4-15$ per person, I was absolutely shocked when we got our bill and it was $100 US. That's twice what I would pay for a meal in a very nice restaurant anywhere else in the world, and this is an outdoor "food stall" type venue in Belize. On a backpacker budget, that was 3 days worth of food for me. I feel that he saw us as Westerners and immediately targeted us.
That said, the meal itself was unique and delicious and authentically Nepalese, with plentiful vegan options and ridiculously huge portions. Just get a price commitment before you eat. Raj has worked to build this up into a food destination, and he has some very fun dishes. Ask to try the Pan Masala at the end of your meal if...

The owner, Raj, immediately welcomed us with open arms and made us the best chai we’ve ever tasted! He shared some of his Nepalese customs with us and showed us traditional music, which we enjoyed listening to while waiting for our food to be freshly prepared.
The food was incredible! We could taste so many delicious spices and we could tell that everything was homemade. The momo’s were incredible! He even gave us a complimentary dessert. The food, as well as the experience that Raj and his wife gave us, were one of the highlights of our Belize trip! We are so thankful we...

He is super enthusiastic and passionate, which is refreshing and infectious. We wanted a vegan meal, and he whipped up quite a feast for us. The food was prepared taking my wife's aversion to spicy food and my love of it into consideration. In the end, we had a mountain of food we couldn't possibly finish, and so had lots of leftovers. My wife thought the dahl was a little salty. The meal as pictured, with chapati, papadum and a pitcher of lime juice, came to BZD$115, which was kinda steep, but again we have leftovers for probably 1.5 - 2 meals, so...
