A & K Fastfood — Restaurant in Corozal Town

My husband and I came to A & K Fastfood for breakfast the morning after we got to Corozal. Don’t let the name fool you. This is not like fast food places back home (in the US). The food is freshly made, delicious and served with a smile. The food is inexpensive. The length of time it takes to get the food will vary as Ava is typically doing everything herself: taking orders, cooking, serving food, cleaning tables, processing payments, talking to know customers to get to know them. But it’s so worth the wait! My husband and I ended up coming back every day for breakfast and sometimes for lunch or dinner too. We loved every single meal and beverage we had there and Ava was more than happy to customize any meal or beverage any way we wanted. She also remembered what we liked. Ava was so friendly, welcoming and helpful to us. If/when we are back in Corozal we are definitely going back to A & K Fastfood.
